Edo state House of Assembly speaker Rt Hon Marcus Onobun ksc has felicitated with all Edos as we celebrate the new month of April.
The Speaker noted that just like yesterday, the first quarter of year 2022 has ended and congratulated everyone for making it through thus far and also praying for a better next quarter.
Rt Hon Marcus Onobun ksc, while thanking God for the new month called on all Edos’ to remember that the month of April is a very important one in the history of the state as it would be the month in which local government elections would be conducted.
He encouraged all Edos to come out enmasse to be part of history to participate in the process and ensure credible and competent individuals are elected into the various positions.
According to the speaker ” this month is a month of great promises, victories,and a month of blessings for as it marks a new beginning at the local government level of governance in the state”
He urged all youths to take part in the electioneering process as it is important for them to be in the decision making process of the state and country in general .
Rt Hon. Onobun stressed that despite our current challenges in the country, we all should always see the dawn of a new day as a sign of hope for better things to come and we should be united in making Nigeria a better place to be.
