Speaker Edo state House of Assembly, Rt Hon Marcus Onobun ksc has described death as an inevitability for all human.
Rt Hon Marcus Onobun ksc stated this when he paid a condolence visit to the Onojie of Ekpoma zaiki Anthony Abumere 11 on the death of his mother; Queen mother Jamata Mary Ebaide Akhimien at the age of 76.
The Speaker who said the death of a parent is very painful and devastating for any child irrespective of age and class.

Rt Hon Marcus Onobun told the Onojie that as a subject and Representative at the house, he came to extend the condolences of all in the constituency.
He called on him to be strong and bring his siblings together considering the fact that their mother lived a fulfilled Life.
He intimated the traditional ruler of his support now and during the burial activities.
Onojie of Ekpoma, zaiki Anthony Abumere 11 receiving the Speaker and his entourage, thanked him for remembering the Royal family at this time of their grief.
The Onojie spoke glowingly of his late mother as one of his greatest confidant, especially when it comes to activities and issues affecting the kingdom.
He said she would be greatly missed by him and other members of the Royal family.
On the speaker’s entourage were his mother; Hon Chief (Mrs) Stella Okoro, Mrs Matilda Iduseri, hon Collins Aigbogun, Hon Collins Idiakhoa, Comrade Isaac Ifijen, Comrade Freeborn Ahanor amongst other notable personalities.
The Speaker was also received by the Ekpoma market women Association, who prayed for him to be successful in all his endeavors.
