The lawmaker representing the people of Esan West, Esan Central, and Igueben Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Marcus Onobun, has admonished Muslim faithful in his constituency to use this period of Ramadam to pray for the continuous peace and development in the Constituency.
According to the statement made available through his media unit,
Rt. Hon. Onobun admonished constituents to use this season of prayers to seek for clemency as they meditate on the virtues of Prophet Muhammed. He urged his constituents to commit to living a sacred life during and after this holy month of Ramadan.
He emphasized that the Ramadam fasting exercise is a major form of worship and spiritual discipline that strengthens relationships with God.
He further posited that every nation needs God, and his constituents cannot afford to undermine the God factor in strengthening their day-to-day activities.
Rt. Hon. Marcus Onobun re-emphasized his commitment to all his constituents irrespective of religious inclinations.
He assured them that his constituency outreaches and activities will benefit muslims, christians, and those from other religions. He expressed commitment to always run an open door policy to accommodate contributions from all divides that will lead to a more prosperous and developed Federal Constituency.
