A Man of the match performance by the deputy governor of Edo state Rt. Hon. Phillip Shaibu. As Obaseki/Shaibu team defeated Edo SACA 3:0
In a novelty match to commemorate the 50th birthday of the deputy governor of Edo state, saw Obaseki/Shaibu team captained by the celebrant Rt. Hon Phillip Shaibu who also have in his team top members of the executive arm of government in the state including the speaker of the Edo state house of assembly.
Rt. Hon Frank Okiye lock horns with Edo SACA which have some members of the legislative arm in the likes of the deputy leader of the house. Hon Marcus Onobun and the chief of staff to the speaker of the house Hon Blessing Agbebaku.
The deputy governor showed class and his youthfulness as he grabbed a brace and an assist.
Speaking after the match, the deputy leader of the edo state house of assembly. Hon Marcus Onobun congratulated the Obaseki/Shaibu team for a well deserved victory. Saying “ this team can not be defeated on any ground either in the field or at the polls “ .
