
Edo State House of Assembly on resumption of plenary today deferred the clause by clause consideration of three bills for a later date.
The bills which are: the bill for a law to establish Edo Diaspora Agency and for matters connected therewith,
A bill for a law to repeal the rural electricity board 1972, and a bill for a law to repeal the Edo State Development and Property law 2018.
The deferment was taken after presentation of each report by the chairmen of the committees.
Earlier, the chairman house standing committee on rules, business and government house, honourable Henry Okhuarobo and the chairman house standing committee on budget economic planning, Industry, trade and co-operatives, honourable Ephraim Aluebhosele both presented findings and recommendations on each of the bills at the committee of the whole.
In his summation,
speaker, Rt Hon Marcus Onobun thereafter directed the clerk to slate a later date for the consideration of the bills.
The house thereafter adjourned sitting till Tuesday 19th 2022.
