EDHA Speaker brings succour to Ukpughele ward 4 in Esan West as he commences work on the community Town Hall.

After years of neglect and failed promises, Ukpughele community in ward 4 of Esan West constituency have heaved a sigh of relief as work on the community Town Hall is set to commence.

Edo State House of Assembly speaker, Rt Hon Marcus Onobun KSC has directed the immediate commencement of work after his attention was drawn to the plight of the community.

Rt Hon Marcus Onobun KSC who was represented by his Special Adviser on strategy and policy, Ambassador Collins Aigbogun in company of Comrade Isaac Ifijen went on a fact finding mission to the community.

Speaking to Elders of the community, Ambassador Collins Aigbogun said the speaker has directed the commencement of work on the town hall building after learning of the situation within the community and the many failed promises to build the edifice.

Ambassador Collins Aigbogun told the people that it is not only during elections that communities are remembered but at all times as the speaker has them in his heart expecially as the town hall has been in a deplorable condition before now.

The Special Adviser to the speaker on strategy and policy said the speaker holds the community in high esteem and wants to ensure the Elders have a befitting town hall for their deliberations.

The team which included an engineer inspected the building for immediate commencement of work.
