Edo Speaker charges members to boost membership registration across wards

If Esan agenda 2024 is to be achieved there is the need for Esan to move out of the minority, with registration into the people’s democratic party PDP and the INEC continuous Voters registration exercise.

Speaker, Edo State House of Assembly, RT Hon Marcus Onobun gave this charge at an enlarged meeting of party stakeholders, composed of all current state exco members from Edo central senatorial district, civil commissioners, and all 5LGA party chairmen. Others are all the newly appointed SSAs and SAs.

Onobun charged the leaders and other attendees to be invited in ensuring the party’s registration data was boosted across the 51wards in the district.

The Speaker assured that leaders from the senatorial district are equal to the task of giving quality representation in government as well as presenting the problems of the district to the government at the center.

On his part, the chief whip and member representing Esan North East 2 Hon Emma Okoduwa prescribed a model of the unit to unit tour as a way of getting more members registered into the party.

The Special Adviser to the Governor on policy Barr Mrs. Philomena Iyenhen called for a synergy between all political appointees at various wards.

This she said will give a proper collaboration for success in the registration.

The Senatorial chairman Archbishop Anthony Okosun, Dr. F.E Ilinfoh, and Rt. Hon Friday Itula also took turns in addressing the district members.
