The Governor of Edo State, Mr. Godwin Obaseki has reaffirmed the readiness of his administration to deliver more dividends of democracy to the people.
He made this promise yesterday while commissioning the multi-purpose Uhiele Community Development Centre built and donated by Engineer Charles and Lady Gloria Osezua at Uhiele in Esan West Local Government Area.

The governor who was represented by the Speaker of Edo
State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Marcus Onobun commended the donors of the facility for the gesture while charging the inhabitants of the community to continue to pray for the donor and make good use of the centre.
The Speaker who said the governor was unavoidably absent due to an official engagement charged well-meaning individuals to replicate
such gestures to maximize community development.
He pledged the State government’s resolve to construct the Uhiele-Ukpoke Road, which he said will be captured in year 2023 budget and which will be among the foremost projects to be executed in the fiscal year.
The donor, Engineer Osezua while handing over the keys of the complex to the Odionwele of the community said he and his wife decided to build it due to its former dilapidated state.
He noted that the building which has eight pillars, representing the eight clans of Uhiele, eight offices and a security apartment will help preserve the history and heritage of his people as well as create a base for developmental efforts in the state.
It was a moment of merriment for the people of Uhiele as they massively graced the event and as all who were present were entertained.
