The Speaker of Edo State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon Marcus Onobun has said that the Governor of Edo State, Mr Godwin Obaseki would be visiting the House tomorrow 10th of November to present the year 2021 Appropriation Bill.
The Speaker, who announced this at plenary today, asked other Members of the House, Clerk and Staff to be punctual to make the yearly event successful.
In a related development, the House has given first reading to year 2020 Revised supplementary Appropriation Bill sent to it by Governor Godwin Obaseki.
The action of the House followed a message containing the Bill received from the Governor, urging the House to give the Bill urgent consideration.
Hon. Marcus subsequently referred the Bill to the House standing committee on Rules and Business to slate for second reading.
The House thereafter adjourned to 10th November 2020 at 10:am prompt, after a motion moved by Hon. Henry Okhuarobo and seconded by Hon. Sunny Osezua Ojiezele.
