MOI PLAY HOST ACTING CHARIMAN ESAN WEST LGA (PHOTOS)

Hon. Marcus Onobun plays host to the Acting Chairman Hon Mrs Ruth Okunwe and members of the Legislative arm of Esan West LGA Council: Discusses issues that borders on the local government council and the entire constituency

In his opening remark, the honorable member representing Esan West constituency said the essence of the meeting was to rub minds with his colleagues at the local level to ensure that the plight and the needs of the constituents are well catered for.

During the meeting counselors representing each wards where given opportunity to air the needs of their respective wards so as to ensure that the needed attention is given to such areas.

Some of the issues raised centers on good infrastructural development, good and motor able road networks, portable water, electricity, fencing of public schools, production center, good security architecture and sporting facilities such as a mini stadium.

In the same vein, some of the counselors appeal to the honorable member to use his office to ensure that their are more C4 and CSDP projects executed across the local government.

On the issues that borders on the local government council, Hon Marcus Onobun advised the acting chairman to ensure that there is cohesion between the executive arm and the legislative arm at the local level to ensure speedy development. As the executive needs the legislative arm to succeed. In the same vein he also advised the counselors to give their full support to the acting chairman and to see their current position as a breeding ground for a greater opportunity ahead of them.

The highlight of the meeting was when the acting chairman and the entire legislative arm once again declared their readiness to ensure that Governor Godwin Obaseki gets maximum support from the local government and they thank the honorable member representing the constituency for such a privilege to rub minds on issues that affect the people they represent.
