The speaker,Edo State house of Assembly Rt Hon Marcus Onobun has congratulated Comrade Festus Alenkhe on his victory at the polls emerging as the new State Chairman of the Nigerian Union of Journalists.
In a statement , RT hon Marcus Onobun said with this victory the NUJ in the state has commenced a new phase of development and progress .
He described Festus Alenkhe as a thoroughbred journalist ,who has used his experience as a crime reporter to aid in ridding society of criminals.
The speaker assured of the state Assembly’s continued relationship with the fourth estate of the realm ,he wished the new Chairman well in his endeavors, and prayed for his success through out the three year tenure.
