Rt Hon Marcus Onobun ksc,joins other aspirants to screen ahead general elections.

Speaker, Edo state House of Assembly ,Rt Hon Marcus Onobun ksc has been screened ahead of the general elections.

The PDP state Secretariat along First East circular road in Benin city was filled to capacity as all the party’s aspirants converged to be screened by officials from the National Secretariat .

Rt Hon Marcus Onobun alongside other aspirants was screened with the checking of his documents.

Speaking with journalists thereafter, Rt Hon Marcus Onobun commended the process, stating that all the aspirants need to do was await the outcome of the process and a level playing ground for all aspirants.

The speaker disclosed that since commencement of his campaigns he has been shown support, solidarity and encouragement. According to him
” The people have open mindedness, and much receptiveness to my campaigns showing that whatever you do people are watching, since the campaign started the support and solidarity the people have shown is overwhelming and at every given point I come out, I see the kind of solidarity I am encouraged to push further”.

Rt Hon Marcus Onobun expressed hope that with the support of the people it would be an easy task during the elections.

While stressing the importance of quality representation at the house of Representatives the speaker said he intends to be a vocal voice ” Others have Done the normal, but we will think outside the box to give Edo people not just my constituency an intelligent representation which happens to be youths want, to bring about more legislative framework that would propel the executive to do the needful”.

” We are going to to specifically emphasize on the area of insecurity because very soon there will be much hunger in the land because of food shortage due to insecurity as farmers are unable to go to their farms; so we are already looking at areas that would guarantee food security for our dear country, and to give an enabling legislation to the executive, which is what we are going to champion at the National Assembly.
