The qualification of the super eagles for the knock out stage at the ongoing Afcon in Cameroun has been described by the speaker ,Edo State House of Assembly Rt Hon Marcus Onobun ksc as a superlative performance which only speaks volumes of the dedication and zeal of the player and coaching prowess of Austin Eguavoen.
Rt Hon Marcus Onobun ksc while congratulating the team and coaching crew said their resilience made it possible for the team to win all it’s matches during the first round of the tournament.
The speaker called for all to support and pray for the success of the team as they move into the knock out stage . According to the speaker” the team which comprises mainly of youths has shown much strength in unity during the matches played so far , showing that youths still have a lot to offer this great Nation”
He called on all to be United to give the talented team members and coach crew to continue in the fighting spirit to win the African cup of Nation’s Afcon cup at the end of the tournament. ” The team and Coaching crew need our support at home to boost their morale at the tournament . Coach Austin Eguavoen is in his true form as a great coach ” .
