Speaker, Edo State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon. Marcus Onobun has described the late former Commissioner of Sports in the State , Brown Ebewele as one whose ingenuity brought about some of the finest times in the history of Sports in the State and Country.
Rt.Hon. Marcus Onobun stated this when he led a delegation on a condolence visit to the family of the late sports icon in Benin City.
In his remark Rt.Hon. Marcus said Brown Ebewele was held in high esteem in the political and sports circles in view of the high sense of wisdom and administrative acumen he brought to bear in providing solutions.
He described Ebewele’s death as not only a loss to his immediate family but to the State and Country.
He said the irreparable loss has been etched in the hearts of his fans, friends and numerous sportsmen he mentored and his record of achievements .
The Speaker, while assuring of the commitment of the State House of Assembly in ensuring that a befitting burial is given to the late sports icon popularly known as “Juju Man” prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased as well as for the family he left behind.

received the Speaker, Rt.Hon. Marcus Onobun on behalf of the wife of Brown Ebewele , Mrs Fidelia and children .
He said the Ebewele family will forever be grateful for the show of love by the State House of Assembly in their time of grief.
The visit came to a climax with the signing of the condolence register by the Hon Speaker and his Entourage
The Speaker was accompanied on the condolence visit by the Member Representing Esan North East Constituency two ,Emmanuel Okoduwa , Clerk of the House Alhaji Audu Yahaya Omogbai and Chief of Staff to the Speaker Hon. Blessing Agbebaku .
