The Speaker , Edo State House of Assembly Rt.Hon Marcus Onobun has extolled the late renowned sports administrator and former commissioner for sports , Hon. Brown Ebewele as a rare gem whose contributions to the sports sector will be greatly missed.
Rt.Hon. Marcus Onobun stated this when be led other lawmakers to attend a vigil mass in honour of the deceased.
The Speaker Rt.Hon. Marcus Onobun, Member representing Esan North East Constituency One, Rt.Hon. Francis Okiye and his counterpart from Esan North East Constituency Two Rt.Hon. Emmanuel Okoduwa and Chief of Staff to the Speaker , Hon. Blessing Agbebaku joined members of the sports community within and outside the State and parishioners to bid farewell to Brown Ebewele.
In an interview , the Speaker, Edo State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon Marcus Onobun said Hon. Brown Ebewele stood out as a sportsman a seasoned sports who won laurels for the midwestern State , the defunct Bendel and later Edo State and the country
