The speaker Edo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Marcus Onobun ksc has described the passing away of musical icon Ambassador osayomore Joseph as a great loss to Edo state and the entertainment industry in Nigeria.
Rt Hon Marcus Onobun in a condolence message to the family,fans and music lovers said the news of the death of the musician came as a shock bearing in mind that he still had a lot of productive years ahead.
Mr Speaker described the late veteran of highlife music as one who thrilled fans across the state and beyond with his educational, philosophical lyrics and great musical mastery for decades.
“As a young boy growing up, ulele power sound of Ambassador osayomore Joseph was one music we all danced to,he was an icon and would forever live in our hearts as his music is there for all to still enjoy.”
The speaker prayed for eternal rest for the departed and prayed for God to comfort his immediate family, friends and fans all over the state and beyond.
