The honorable member representing Esan West, Esan Central & Igueben federal constituency Rt Hon. Marcus Onobun affectionately referred to as the “people’s rep” has sent his heart warm felicitations to a political titan and Leader of the All Progressive Congress, in the instance, Edo central, a general of many fronts, Gen. Cecil Esekhaigbe Rtd on the occasion of his birthday anniversary, describing him as “a distinguished statesman, an unwavering patriot, pan-democrat and grassroot leader”
In a letter he personally signed, Onobun said the leadership of Gen. Cecil “has shaped political thoughts, strengthened democracy and inspired generations across the Esanland.”
