The Member representing the good people of Esan West, Esan Central, and Igueben Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Marcus I. Onobun, has extended his warmest congratulations to all the newly elected and returning Local Government Area (LGA) executives of the All Progressives Congress (APC) across his constituency.
In a statement issued today, the federal lawmaker described the peaceful and highly coordinated conduct of the congresses across the wards in Esan Central, Esan West, and Igueben as a clear testament to the democratic ethos, unity, and strength of the progressive family in Esan Land.
“The successful conclusion of our LGA congresses is a victory for internal democracy and a bold statement of our readiness to consolidate our hold on the grassroots. I heartily congratulate all the newly elected and returned executives in Esan Central, Esan West, and Igueben. Your emergence is a call to duty, a mandate of trust, and a responsibility to further unite the party at the local level,” he stated.
The lawmaker charged the new LGA leadership to immediately hit the ground running with the crucial work of party cohesion. He urged them to build bridges of reconciliation and embrace every member of the progressive family, including the recent influx of new members, emphasizing that a united front in Esan Land is essential to aligning with the developmental strides of the Edo State Government under the dynamic leadership of Governor Monday Okpebholo.
“To whom much is given, much is expected. Now is the time to synergize, harmonize, and project the manifesto of our great party to every nook and cranny of our federal constituency. Let us work together as one indivisible family to sustain the Okpebholo paradigm of compassionate leadership and massive infrastructure development in Edo State. We are on course, and in triumph, we shall arrive,” Onobun added.
