With a heart full of grief, I humbly extend my condolences on behalf of the state house of assembly, Edo State Nigeria, to the president and people of South Africa on the painful exit of a political Icon, the anti apartheid hero, and religious paragon in the person of Arch Bishop Desmond Tutu.
His life served as a beacon of hope to the oppressed in South Africa and the different ethnic groups in Africa. His legacy shall never be erased as his political ideas would stand the test of time and be a guiding light even to our children yet unborn.
The State House of Assembly join in condoling with the South African people and government as to his passing and may his soul rest in perfect peace.
