The Speaker of Edo State House of Assembly, Rt.Hon. Marcus Onobun today led some members of the house of Assembly to pay a condolence visit to the family of Late prof. Chief Sir, Victor Efosa Uwaifo the legendary highlife music Icon at his residence.
The Speaker who expressed shock over the sudden death of the music Icon, described him as an Africa music legend who has left an indelible mark in the music world.
according to the speaker, though we are shocked by the death of our music legend, we are consoled by the legacy he has left behind. As an Edo Man, he took the banner of the State to a global stage, he has touched thousands of lives either directly or indirectly through his lyrics.
The Speaker while sympathizing with the family, assured them of the house readiness to take part in any activity to honour the late Icon.
