The acceptance that Rt. Hon. Marcus Onobun gets wherever his campaign train berths be it in Esan West, Esan Central and Igueben was very massive.
As he consults with PDP stakeholders, Elders and Party leaders across board the response was positive and an indication that the coast is clear for him to hoist the party’s flag and go on to win the 2023 general elections.
From findings what has worked in the Speaker’s favour in this regards is his knack for great achievements, his ability to ensure that his constituents are not shortchanged.
These apart, the youthful effervescence that the Speaker exhibits in carrying out his assignments has been a plus for his scorecard. He has been a Promise Keeper all these while.
Also his man and resources management skills count in his favour on all occassions and in all gatherings that he goes to for support.
Some of his lofty achievements that has counted much in his favour include his numerous high calibre constituency projects Executed by himself or facilitated and his ability to bring forth value in any assignment he handles etc.
From all indications the PDP ticket is his to accept while he is sure to clear the general election hurdles later next year, God willing.
