Uromi Bank Robbery: Rt Hon Marcus Onobun KSC commiserates with victims

The speaker Edo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Marcus Onobun KSC has expressed shock at yesterday’s Multiple Bank Robberies in Uromi, Esan North East Local Government Area.

The speaker condemned the attack which nearly crippled business activities in the commercially vibrant town of Uromi

Rt Hon Marcus Onobun KSC said the Robbery is coming at a time when all security agents and Edo State government are doing their best to secure lives and property of citizens.

The speaker while comisserating with families who lost loved ones in the dastardly act prayed for the repose of their souls. He also commiserated with the Onojie of Uromi, Zaiki Anslem Eidenojie praying for God’s continued protection on Uromi and Esan land

He called for concerted efforts by security operatives to bring the culprits to book and ensure Justice is served.

The Speaker also charged all indigenes of Uromi to remain calm as government would do all to protect them, urging them to go about their lawful duties. While describing Esan people as peaceful and loving

He advised all indigenes of Uromi and indeed Esan land to be vigilant and be weary of strangers in their midst and be assured that Government is working to ensure tightened security.
