The speaker of EDHA Rt Hon Marcus Onobun has said that the legislative arm of government in the state needs the judiciary more than the reverse.
He made this remark during a church service to mark the formal opening of Edo State Judiciary 2020/2021 legal year.
According to the speaker, The role of the judiciary in the society towards nation building can not be overemphasized. So we are the one seeking for their cooperation for the laws we are making, because they need to help interpret these laws. Hence we are ready to work in Pari passu with the judiciary for the betterment of the society he said.
