The Edo State House of Assembly Speaker Rt. Hon Marcus Onobun Ksc, has joined all christians to observe the good Friday.
In his message, the Speaker noted that good Friday is a day that commemorates the passion of Jesus Christ, his crucifixion and also his death.
Hon. Onobun stated that although Christ had to endure so much torture and pain on his way to calvary; the day should not be one for Christians to mourn as those that do not have hope,but a day for sober reflections.
The Speaker also urged believers to see good Friday as a day to observe and remember that Jesus the Christ paid the ultimate sacrifice for the redemption of all mankind.
